Our brand promise: we take responsibility.

We are just beginning our journey and we are far from being perfect. We learn every day. And we want to take responsibility. This is precisely why we attach great importance to sustainability, environmental awareness, premium quality and fair production. From the very beginning.

We make organic cotton a basic ingredient of our socks.

We produce our cotton socks with 100% organic cotton. Why? The cultivation of conventional cotton uses around 16% of the insecticides used worldwide and 7% of the pesticides. In the cultivation of organic cotton, however, no toxic chemicals are used. Organic farming therefore does not damage the soil, emits fewer harmful emissions and requires an average of 88% less water and 62% less energy. You can find more information about organic cotton here.

We reduce plastic waste.

We try to completely avoid the use of plastic throughout our entire supply chain. We send our products in environmentally friendly and recycled cardboard boxes or in 100% compostable shipping bags. We do not use individual packaging. Our labels are sewn on and not attached with plastic clips. Whenever we need to print something, we do it on recycled paper. From postcards to shipping labels.

We work with partners who share the same mindset.

We take our time to find partners who share our mindset. We work with selected suppliers in Asia and Europe. Our focus is on smaller companies - often still family-owned. We ensure compliance with internationally accepted standards such as amfori BSCI or GOTS and regularly check the certifications of our manufacturers. Fair working conditions and social standards along the entire supply chain are very important to us.

We ship environmentally friendly.

If you order through our website, you will receive your order through the DHL GoGreen environmental protection program. This way we ensure that your socks not only arrive quickly and safely, it also lets you make a positive contribution to climate protection. You can find more information about the GoGreen program at our partner DHL here.

We want to promote social projects.

KYU.ONE started as a hobby. And one thing was clear from the start: as soon as we generate an income, we want to start giving back. We want to promote social projects that really have an impact. That is why we are currently looking for possible funding projects here in our home town and in Asia, in which we are happy to invest part of our profits.
